I created a Visual Positioning Board to spark inspiration for my sensory material platte using objects and colors of what I thought about when reading the haiku.
Hidden haiku in the palette. I printed articles and to give them the aged look I dipped them in coffee and let them air dry to give a tan tint to the papers then throughout each paper I circled each of the words from my haiku and when you put them together they read out the haiku.
Final Sensory Platte- I used dark colors and materials to portray a dark, old-timey feel, I also used syrup that is coming from the candle, representing the word sticky in the haiku and I placed a candle in the middle that smelled like old leather.
