As part of a collaborative effort, we redesigned Hughes Hall utilizing floorplans to transform the vacant structure into a functional facility that all students may use for learning, maker, and third spaces. This hub of resources for the arts has made it possible for students who would not otherwise be able to afford to purchase or use current technologies. The newly designed Hughes Hall is inclusive and accessible in every manner thanks to its neurodivergent and disability-friendly architecture. Signage, artwork, and clear views of the areas make it simple to distinguish and find different destinations. The hub also thrives from the display of goods and apps that may be used in the region, drawing in new users.
