Masking, layering, blending modes, and scaling were a few cinemagraph methods I used in the program Adobe Premiere. I used the masking tool on the steam coming out of the tub and in the mirror to make the steam appear to be behind the plant in the reflection, as well as the masking tool to clip out the light bulb and the candle flames for the candles next to the tub. I utilized the layering tool by placing multiple photos, such as the light bulb, steam, and candle fire, in front of the primary jpg picture before masking them. I tend to use the blending mode lighten or screen to avoid having the photos' backgrounds seem black like the steam and light bulb did. Finally, I utilized the scaling approach to make items like the light bulb look the right scale, and I had to rescale the steam in the mirror to make the scaling look right. I used audio that can be described as a bright sunny day to give an ambiance of relaxation and it felt right for this picture because of how bright the sun is coming through the window in this picture.
